PORTA 300 is an advanced load port, a piece of the equipment front-end module for 300mm wafer carriers.

One class covers topics for application and maintenance engineers, but it is mainly addressed to service people who will operate, troubleshoot and if it is necessary, calibrate the product.

During classes, students will learn about:

• Design of the FOUP opener
• Functionality of the parts of the PORTA 300
• Calibration of opener module
• Troubleshooting
• Teaching

With regard to the customer application, students will work with different models of PORTA 300. Some of them may incorporate one or more of the Following features:

• Integrated pre-aligner options
• Wafer mapping capability
• Integrated Bar-code, RF, IR carrier tag readers
